The new Disney thematic park, Animal Kingdom, has giant dolls, roller-coasters, many attractions
and real animals. You can make a safe and comfort safari with lions, elephants, giraffes,
rinocerontes and rare animals, as almost extinct ocapi, a lesser cousin of the giraffe. They are about
1.000 animals, of 200 different species, plus others as much in form of robot, sculptures and dolls
in three musical shows of the park. Not even the extinct animals had been forgotten: it has a stroll
for the world in the time of the dinosaurs.

The Animal Kingdom is now the biggest Disney attraction, not only for the newness as for the size.
With area of 202 hectares, it has five times the size of the Magic Kingdom, the first and more famous
park of Florida, inaugurated in 1971. The Animal Kingdom is also divided in areas: Oasis, Safari Village,
Camp Minnie-Mickey, Dinoland the USA, Africa and Asia. The Oasis is after the entrance and has some
animals, as small kangaroos and flamingos, in places that try to reproduce its habitat.
It does not have cages. The animals are all untied, isolated of the public with obstacles
as irrigation ditches and lakes.

The Oasis takes the visitor until the Safari Village, where if it locates the gigantic Tree of Life, symbol
of the Animal Kingdom. In the form of a giant broccoli, it has 103,000 polyester leves and 44 meters
of height, equivalent to a building of fourteen floors. In its trunk of concrete, fibre glass and plaster
had been sculptured 325 images of animals. Under of the Tree of Life it has a movie in third dimension.
In the film, call It's Tough You the Be the Bug, when one bug that ate excessively vomits in
the auditorium, everybody receives in the face one sneezes of water from a device inlaid in the
front of each chair, among others tricks.

The most radical attraction of the Animal Kingdom, contraindicated for small children, is the
Countdown for the Extinguishing, where the visitors travel 65 million years in the time to find the
dinosaurs in the accurate day where an asteroid of the size of the Everest Mount fell down on the Land,
causing the extinguishing of the species. The car slides on tracks in high speed, goes up, goes down,
it brakes brusquely, and the appearances of the dinosaurs are valid for a terror film. The Animal Kingdom,
however, is the park with more new features for children in Orlando. In the Camp Minnie-Mickey,
it can be found the Disney characters and shows like Pocahontas and the Festival of the Lion King.
In another place, it has a show with Mogli and a great playground in the Dinoland.

Boys and girls will certainly have fun in this Park, where they can touch domestic animals.
One of the highest points of the park is the safaris. It is embarked in a truck for a stroll of twenty minutes
throughout 3,2 kilometers in an area with vegetation of the African savannah. In the new Disney park
you can enjoy your visit with comfort and without running any risk.
